Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Say Right ("the Service"), provided by The Verified Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, installing the extension, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who you are contracting with
The Service is provided by The Verified Group Ltd, trading as "Say Right". You are entering into an agreement directly with us. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
2. The Service
Say Right is a tone-rewriting and translation assistant available as a web app and a browser extension. It helps you rewrite messages before you send them on platforms such as WhatsApp Web and Gmail. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output will be suitable for any particular purpose.
3. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Use the Service to send spam, harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person.
- Generate content that infringes intellectual property rights, breaches privacy, promotes hate, violence, sexual content involving minors, self-harm, or illegal activity.
- Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including probing, scanning, scraping, reverse engineering, deploying malware, or circumventing technical limits or rate limits.
- Resell, redistribute, or sub-licence access to the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Use the Service to generate professional advice (legal, medical, financial) and present it as such without independent verification.
4. AI-generated content
Say Right uses third-party AI models to rewrite your messages. You are responsible for the prompts you submit, for reviewing the output before sending it, and for ensuring you have the rights to use any text you input. AI output may be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable — it is your responsibility to check it before use.
We may filter, refuse, or moderate output that violates these terms or our AI providers' policies. Repeated or serious abuse may result in suspension.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately at support@sayright.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose under your selected plan. You retain ownership of the text you submit; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Plans, payments, and billing
Say Right offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription (monthly or yearly). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing frequency, taxes, currency conversion, invoices, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or via paddle.net; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
See our Refund Policy for details on refund eligibility.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable-use rules. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing support@sayright.app. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally.
